Lou Mini Read: More Commercials I Did

by admin on May 18, 2009

Please enjoy these two clips from a PBSKids thing I was asked to record for. Unlike with the James Patterson thing, when they asked for a scratch track and then used it for free on national television, I got paid for this one. I had recorded a scratch track for the client and they liked it but went off to get someone else to read it for them. I was just about to head home when I got a phone call from the recording studio. They hadn’t liked any of the talent they hired and the client wanted me to come in for a professional read. This is the result.

BIZARRE PBS KIDS

PBS is a little weirder than I seem to remember from back when I was a kid. Who are the people who think this stuff up and what exactly were they trying to go for? I gotta ask has there ever been a time where you went in to read for a part and thought, “What in the hell is this gibberish.”

The promos from PBS Kids is kind of little strange thought to me. Where should I see that kid promo of the one with “Play us the songs and sing the songs”, ‘Cause I really would like to see that promo again and not have that get stucked in to my head and be able to see it, if you have it. And i can also tell you that you’re promos on this web is so amazed with the one with the crazy stomach dance party thing.
